It gives me great pleasure to extend felicitations on the auspicious occasion of the 30th anniversary celebration of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO). This is indeed an occasion for us to recall and commemorate important landmarks achieved by ISESCO, a specialized institution of the OIC, towards the primacy of the Islamic values of justice, human dignity and equality among all people. I would like to take this opportunity to reiterate the importance of strengthening coordination and cooperation between the OIC General Secretariat and ISESCO with a view to creating conditions conducive to unity, prosperity and development of the Ummah. The OIC will remain committed in supporting institutions within its system, such as ISESCO, with a view to consolidating the position of the Muslim world as a constructive partner in developing a culture of tolerance and peaceful cohabitation among people of diverse religious and cultural backgrounds. In marking this auspicious occasion, we remain confident that ISESCO will continue with its endeavors towards upholding the traits of Islamic culture and promoting science and education in the Muslim world.
