OIC Secretary-General Congratulates Saudi Arabia on Founding Day

The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, H.E. Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, congratulated, in his name and on behalf of all the OIC staff members, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – May Allah protect them – and the honorable Saudi people on the occasion of the celebration of Saudi Arabia’s Founding Day, wishing the Kingdom continued security, progress and prosperity.
The Secretary-General stressed that the Founding Day is a milestone event that carries deep historical, civilizational, and cultural significance for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He pointed out that Saudi Arabia’s progress and prosperity in all fields, in light of its Vision 2030, constitute an embodiment of the ambitious plans, programs, and aspirations implemented under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to enhance the Kingdom’s position and leadership role at the regional and international levels. They also serve the causes of the Muslim world, especially in light of Saudi Arabia’s outstanding chairmanship of the current session of the Islamic Summit, and its keen interest in supporting joint Islamic action.
The Secretary-General expressed his wishes for continued prosperity, advancement, and glory for Saudi Arabia, the OIC host country, and the pioneer country in promoting inter-Islamic solidarity and charitable and humanitarian action.
