Hissein Brahim Taha Mourns ASG Amb. Askar Mousinov

The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, expressed his deep sadness and condolences on the passing of Ambassador Askar Mousinov from the Republic of Kazakhstan. Amb. Mousinov held the position of Assistant Secretary-General for Science and Technology Affairs at the OIC General Secretariat. He passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024, in Kazakhstan.

The Secretary-General conveyed his heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy to the Republic of Kazakhstan and the family of the deceased. He expressed his hope that God Almighty will shower the deceased with His vast mercy and forgiveness and grant his family the strength to endure this difficult time.

The Secretary-General praised Amb. Mousinov for his valuable contributions to the Science and Technology Department during his time at the OIC.

It is noteworthy that the deceased was recently elected Director-General of the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS) in Kazakhstan.
