OIC Secretary-General Reviews with COMSTECH its activities in Member States

His Excellency Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), received on Wednesday, 17 January 2024, at his office in Jeddah, Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Chowdhury, General Coordinator of the Standing Committee for Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH), and Mr. Awais Raoof, President of the University of Lahore.
His Excellency discussed with his guests the COMSTECH work program and efforts to support scientific and technological development in OIC Member States. Mr. Taha listened to a detailed explanation of the projects sponsored by COMSTECH in Member States, especially in African countries. His Excellency also listened to a briefing on the activities and projects implemented by the University of Lahore in cooperation with the COMSTECH in several Member States.
