OIC Secretary-General Receives the Maldives Minister of Islamic Affairs

H. E. the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr Hissein Brahim Taha, received today 7 January 2024, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Shaheem, Minister of Islamic Affairs of the Republic of Maldives.
Both sides discussed cooperation between the OIC and the Republic of Maldives and ways of enhancing Joint Islamic Action, particularly in the areas of promoting moderation and tolerance, Islamic jurisprudence and combatting Islamophobia.
