OIC General Secretariat Participated in the 11th Executive Board Meeting to Consider OIC Youth Capital for 2024

On the invitation of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF), the OIC General Secretariat’s delegation led by Dr. Maiga Boubakari, Head of the Youth and Sports Department, participated in the virtual 11th Session of the Executive Board of ICYF held in Istanbul, Republic of Türkiye on 10 November 2023.
The meeting was convened to consider OIC Member States’ applications to host the OIC Youth Capital 2024 International Programme.
In his keynote address on behalf of the OIC General Secretariat, Dr. Boubakari Maiga, conveyed greetings and sincere thanks of H.E. Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha to H.E. Taha Ayhan, the President of ICYF for extending the invitation to the OIC General Secretariat for this important meeting, in its capacity as coordinator of the activities of the OIC Organs and Institutions.
He affirmed the readiness and commitment of the OIC General Secretariat to further strengthen coordination and cooperation with OIC Organs and Institutions in the areas of youth and Sports empowerment through the newly established Department of Youth and Sports, as requested by the relevant OIC resolutions.
