Secretary-General Receives the Permanent Representative of Republic of Tajikistan to the OIC

H.E. the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, received, on 12 September 2023, in his office at the General Secretariat headquarters, H.E. Akram Karimi, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the OIC.
During the meeting, the OIC Secretary-General commended the desire and initiatives of the Republic of Tajikistan to strengthen relations with the OIC, and stressed the importance that the organization attaches to the Republic of Tajikistan and the Central Asia region.
For his part, the Permanent Representative of Tajikistan reiterated his country's continued support for the OIC and its activities.
The two sides exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
