H.E. the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, received, on 30 July 2023, in his office at the headquarters of the General Secretariat, H.E. Mr. Muhammad Samir Al-Naqshbandi, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Iraq to the OIC, who conveyed the invitation addressed to H.E. the Secretary-General from the Iraqi Prime Minister, H.E. Mr. Muhamed Shiaa Al-Sudani to visit the Republic of Iraq. The OIC Secretary-General welcomed this kind invitation and promised to respond to it as soon as possible.
The two sides discussed a number of issues of common concern and ways to enhance relations between the OIC and the Republic of Iraq.
