The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemns the continuation of war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces in Jenin and its camp, the displacement of families amid a state of intimidation, the destruction of infrastructure, killing, preventing medical personnel from carrying out their work, and targeting journalists to prevent them from reporting the truth on the ground.
The organization held Israel, the occupying power, fully responsible for the repercussions of the continuation of these crimes and repeated attacks on the Palestinian people.
OIC called on the International Criminal Court to fulfill its responsibilities with regard to working to complete the criminal investigation into the war crimes that Israel has committed on the Palestinian people and urged the Secretary-General of the United Nations to implement practical and effective measures to protect Palestinian civilians.
It further called upon the High Contracting Parties to the Fourth Geneva Convention to assume their responsibilities, ensure the observance of the Convention, and enforce it in the occupied territory of the State of Palestine, including Al-Qods, by stopping Israeli crimes and violations of international humanitarian law and international human rights law.
