The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), H.E. Mr Hissein Brahim Taha, expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Government and the people of the Co‑operative Republic of Guyana after a blaze killed 19 students and wounded many others in a dormitory building of a secondary school in the town of Mahdia.
Following this accident, the OIC Secretary-General expressed his sympathy to the families of the victims and wished quick recovery to the wounded.
