OIC Secretary-General Receives the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Foreign Policy

The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), H.E. Hissein Brahim Taha, received today, 12 March 2023, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Jeddah, H.E. Abdulaziz Kamilov, Special Representative of H.E. the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Foreign Policy.
During the meeting, the Secretary-General praised the commitment of Uzbekistan to the ideals of OIC and in promoting Joint Islamic Action, and in supporting peace, stability and cooperation in Central Asian Region.
For his part, H.E. Abdulaziz Kamilov stressed the high importance attached by his country to the OIC and the will to strengthen cooperation with the Organization in various fields, especially in the promotion of youth engagement in society.
