The OIC Secretary General receives in his office the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Contractors in Islamic Countries (FOCIC)

The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation H.E Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, received on 25th January 2023 at the General Secretariat the Chairman of Board of Directors of the Federation of Contractors in Islamic Countries (FOCIC), Eng. Zakariya Abdulrahman Al- Abdulqader, and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, H.E. the Secretary General underscored the importance of contractors in driving development in OIC Member States and commended the efforts of the FOCIC towards creating and developing professional ties among contractors in OIC countries.

The two sides discussed the outcome of the Constituent General Assembly Meeting of the FOCIC held in Jeddah on 24th November, 2022, held at the Islamic Development Bank headquarters. They also agreed on the popularization of the FOCIC and its activities in all OIC member states, given their significant contribution in terms of scale and share in the development process for OIC countries.

The Chairman of Board of FOCIC expressed his appreciation to the Secretary General for his outstanding efforts and achievements as well as for his keen interest in the realization of the agenda of FOCIC in the interest of the entire Ummah.
