OIC Strongly Condemns Terrorist Attack against Iraqi Security Forces in Northern Iraq

The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist attack that targeted members of the Iraqi security forces in northern Iraq, claiming the lives of a number of security personnel and wounding others.
The OIC Secretary-General, H.E. Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and to the government and people of the Republic of Iraq, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
The General Secretariat reaffirmed the support of the OIC for Iraq's security and stability, and further reiterated the OIC principled position against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, and the need to redouble efforts to eradicate terrorism.
