OIC Special Envoy for Africa Meets with President Macky SALL, President of Senegal and Chairman of the African Union

Mr. Nassirou Bako-Arifari, OIC Special Envoy for Africa, met on Friday 27 May 2022, in Malabo, capital of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, on the sidelines of the Extraordinary Summit of the African Union, with President Macky SALL, President of the Republic of Senegal and current Chairman of the African Union.

Mr. Nassirou Bako-Arifari conveyed to his illustrious interlocutor a message from the Secretary-General of the OIC, H.E. Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on humanitarian issues, terrorism and food security on the African continent, more specifically in the Sahel region and the Lake Chad Basin.
