OIC Secretary-General Congratulates Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed on His Election as UAE President

H.E. Hissein Brahim Taha, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), extended his warmest congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his election as President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Indicating that His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed is the best successor to the best predecessor, Brahim Taha expressed his confidence that Sheikh Mohamed will continue the path of the late founder, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan, and the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, due to his wisdom and diplomacy that will strengthen the UAE’s position to continue its march as a unique model among the OIC’s Member States and the world countries.

The OIC Secretary-General also extended his congratulations to the Emirati people for their confidence in His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and their support for his leadership, noting the unity, agreement, and consensus that pervades UAE.
