Secretary-General Receives Director General of Department of South Asia, Middle East and African Affairs of Foreign Ministry of Kingdom of Thailand

The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), H.E. Mr Hissein Brahim Taha, on January 20 in his office in Jeddah received the Director General of the Department of South Asia, Middle East and African Affairs of the Foreign Ministry of the Kingdom of Thailand, H.E. Mr Darm Boontham.

On this occasion, the two sides welcomed the quality of relations between the OIC and Thailand, a non-member observer, underlining the importance of reinforcing dialogue and cooperation in various areas.

Equally discussed during this audience were issues of common interest, particularly pertaining to the situation of the Muslim community in Southern Thailand.
