OIC Secretary-General Receives the Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan

Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), His Excellency Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, received today, 18 January 2022, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative to the Organization, Mr. Berik Arin.

During the audience, the Secretary-General reiterated the OIC full solidarity with the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in preserving the country’s sovereignty, security, stability, territorial integrity and the national unity, in the aftermath of the recent events. He also valued Kazakhstan's role and its initiatives within the OIC to promote joint Islamic action.

For his part, Kazakhstan’s Permanent Representative affirmed his country's firm support for the OIC.
