Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr Hissein Brahim Taha, on December 26th in his office received the Ambassador of the Republic of the Gambia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative to the OIC, Mr Omar Gibril Salah.
The Secretary-General commended the Gambia for its active engagement with the OIC and for being supportive to joint Islamic action. He also welcomed the Gambia playing host to the upcoming Islamic Summit Conference.
For his part, the Gambian Permanent Representative reiterated his country’s unwavering support to the OIC and commitment to Muslim world issues. The two parties discussed matters of mutual interest.
