The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr. Yousef A. Al-Othaimeen, received, On Sunday, 13 June 2021, in his office at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Jeddah, Ambassador Chen Weiqing, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Ambassador Weiqing handed the Secretary General his letter of appointment as the representative of the People’s Republic of China to the OIC.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the OIC and the People's Republic of China in various fields, and exchanged views on many issues of mutual concern.
