The Republic of Togo signed, on 29 April 2021, the Statute of the Labor Center of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. The signing ceremony took place at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Jeddah.
The Statute was signed by the Acting Consul-General of the Republic of Togo, Mr. Abdel Alnazzar FOFANA, in the presence of the OIC Secretary-General, Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, and the Assistant Secretary-General for Economic Affairs, Ambassador Ahmad Sengendo.
The Center, headquartered in the Republic of Azerbaijan, aims to strengthen and enable the social development efforts of the OIC Member State, and coordinate among the relevant organizations in the Member States, and other OIC institutes operating in fields related to labor, employment, social protection and human capital development.
