On the occasion of the Land Day, an annual observance on March 30 to show global solidarity for Palestinians in their defense of their land, history, holy sites and national identity, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) affirms standing up in full support of the Palestinian people in their just struggle to recover their legitimate national rights.
On this occasion, the OIC stresses the need for peace to prevail, pursuant to UN resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative, toward a two-state solution in which an independent State of Palestine with its capital in eastern Al-Quds would be established.
