OIC Strongly Condemns Terrorist Attack in Kabul Hotel

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the militant siege of Intercontinental Hotel in Kabul on Saturday night, 20 January 2018, that left 18 people, mostly foreigners, dead.

Expressing his deepest condolences to the families of the victims, Government and people of Afghanistan, the OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen extended his solidarity with Afghanistan in its fight against terrorism and expressed the firm commitment of the Organization to supporting Afghan efforts to achieve peace, security and prosperity in the country.

Dr. Al-Othaimeen reiterated the principled position of the OIC against all forms of terrorism and extremism and repeated his call for international solidarity in the fight against the scourge of terrorism.
