The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly denounced the shooting inside a church in the city of Sutherland Springs in Texas, USA, on Sunday, 5 November 2017. The shooting caused the death and injury of tens of people.
The OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef A. Al-Othaimeen, affirmed the OIC’s full solidarity with the United States of America and the international community in their fight against all forms of terrorism, violence and extremism. He conveyed his condolences to the American Government and to the families of the victims of the attack, wishing the wounded prompt recovery.
